The Music Program at Northwest enrolls about one-third of the student body.  The Concert Band is a select group of 45 musicians which performs at the two major concerts and special events and plays at home football and basketball games as the Pep Band.  They perform at MSBOA, the state festival, as well as the annual band tour.  We also have a Jazz Band, Brass Ensemble and Woodwind Ensemble that play at various events. Our Music Department has participated with Northwest's Drama Department in presenting several musicals including Bye, Bye Birdie, Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella, Godspell, Hello, Dolly, The Wizard of Oz, You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown, Oklahoma!, and Once Upon a Mattress.
