Chorus is an entry level choir for men and women of all grade levels wishing to learn the basics of singing and the fundamentals of music theory. The class teaches vocal technique, musicianship, sight-singing, note-reading, and music appreciation. Chorus is a prerequisite for anyone wishing to participate in the touring Concert Choir. Students who take Chorus generally move on to Concert Choir without an audition. Chorus performs for the Christmas Concert and the Fine Arts Festival. Chorus may also sing for the MSVMA choir festival and community events. Chorus is a wonderful way to learn about singing and make friends.
