Coach Jessica Lathrop has just finished her first season here at Lutheran High Northwest as our head varsity coach.  She led our team to an impressive 14-3 season, winning the district title and losing the regional final, one step away from being top 8 in the state.  Coach Lathrop focuses on fundamental play and maintaining a positive, near-say-die type attitude.

This camp will focus on fundamental play, breaking down the fundamental skills each player needs to be successful.  Coach Lathrop and her staff will help each girl develop their skills from where they are at while maintaining a positive Christ-centered environment.

The camp will focus on the fundamentals of volleyball,
 incorporating defensive and offensive skills helping the girls to improve their overall skills.

Each session will cover the fundamentals of passing, setting, and hitting daily.
 Each camper will also go through individual and team drills.

Specific individual drills will be taught for the following positions:
Setters, Outside Hitters, Middle Blockers, Opposites, and Back Row Specialists

Facilities at Lutheran Northwest allow for three courts to be used during the camp.
 Campers will be divided according to their skill level;
and each will be given individual attention by LHNW Volleyball staff and players.

There will be competitions for camp prizes.
Each camper should bring:
Gym Socks
Gym Shoes
Athletic Shirt
Athletic Shorts
