Welcome

Thank you for your interest in Lutheran High Northwest! Our Admissions Department is committed to supporting and guiding you through our admissions process. You can learn a lot about LHNW by checking out our Frequently Asked Questions.

Beyond that, the best way to learn more about LHNW is to schedule a time to visit the school for an individual tour.

Individual Tours & Shadowing Opportunities

Visiting the school and taking an individual tour can be an important step in learning about LHNW. Walking through the halls can help families get a feel for the environment whether it be during or after school.

Shadow days begin in November this year. Potential students are encouraged to spend a full day or half day at LHNW shadowing a current student to get a feel for what it’s like to be a Crusader. Your student is welcome to shadow any day of the week we are in session. If they are interested in going to Chapel, they should plan to come on a Tuesday or Thursday. The school day begins at 8:25am on Monday and 7:55am on Tuesday through Friday. Please plan to drop your student off at the front office 10 minutes before school starts. Lunch will be provided and you can pick up your student at 3:10pm on Monday through Thursday and 2:30pm on Friday.

Enrollment & Financial Assistance
Once you have made the decision to join the LHNW family, the enrollment process can begin. For students currently attending an LCMS Lutheran grade school, click below to see your registration process. Families of students not coming from an LCMS Lutheran grade school need to interview as a family with the LHNW Principal, Mr. Matt Tschudy, and submit a letter of recommendation from a teacher or administrator at your current school before registering. (Transfers must submit two letters of recommendation - at least one of which must be from an administrator - as well as a transcript or copy of their most recent report card.)  Letters of recommendation, transcripts and requests for a family interview may be directed to:

At Lutheran High Northwest, we do not want the cost of attendance to deter a family from enrolling. For this reason, we offer need-based financial assistance to qualifying families.
