Families of incoming 9th graders are invited to this informative event open to both registered and non-registered students. You'll receive a general overview of the LHNW curriculum as well as specifics about 9th grade course scheduling options. Those students who have taken the high school placement exam will receive their scores, and families will have the opportunity to sign up for an April class scheduling appointment. It's also a great time to submit your high school registration for the 2018-19 school year, if you haven't already!
Prospective families: The High School Placement Test (HSPT) is a free achievement test that is required for all incoming 9th graders at LHNW. It is one of the tools used in determining appropriate course selections for each student. All test materials and supplies will be provided on the day of the exam. Please register in advance with our Admissions Director, Mrs. Mary Gutenkunst, at 248-852-6677 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Lutheran High Northwest is one of only a handful of schools in the Detroit area that offers its students the opportunity to earn a prestigious STEM diploma endorsement. Click on the link to learn more about this exciting program!
Registration cards were sent home with all current 9th-11th graders on Friday, November 17th. If you have not received one or need another, additional cards are available in the school office. The registration fee is $100 until January 31st (increasing incrementally after that). Please plan to re-enroll in Smart Tuition for the new school year within one week of submitting your school registration. Members of LCMS congregations are responsible for submitting the pastor's signature card to their church. The church will then return it to the LHSA office so that proper tuition support levels can be determined.
